Dolly Steamboat
We'll take a 90 minute cruise on this beautiful boat on Canyon Lake. Scan the shoreline to see some of the amazing Arizona wildlife including the Big Horn Sheep. Also keep your eyes to the sky as there may be a Bald Eagle gently floating above. The captain of Dolly Steamboat will take you through this narrow canyon with cliffs that rise out of the lake to give you a unique perspective.
Sonora Desert Tour at Lost Dutchman State Park
Your Across Arizona Tours guide is extremely knowledgeable about the Sonora Desert. They will give you a guided tour and point out desert plants that live in the lush Sonora Desert including the Saguaro and the state tree, the Palo Verde.
Tortilla Flat
This was the last stop for the stagecoach on the famous and scenic Apache Trail. Believe it or not, this town has a population of only 6 people! Browse through the Tortilla Flat museum that has photos of life 100 years ago. The Superstition Saloon has real saddles that serve as bar stools. Cozy up to the bar for a cool and refreshing sarsaparilla. Be sure to look carefully at the wall paper as it is dollar bills from visitors from around the world. Wrap up your visit with some prickly pear ice cream from the gift shop.
Goldfield Ghost Town
Our final stop is at Goldfield Ghost Town, which was a real working gold mine in the 1890s and the early 1900s. After the gold vein was depleted, it became a ghost town.
